     Left England as a bound apprentice to a wastchmaker in London. He was kidnapped and brought to MAryland and sold by the Captian to a gentleman there. He worked out his time, bought land on the Potomac in 1687, acquired a nice estate and became a leading citizen of Prince Georges County. About 1734, he learned of his family's being in New Jersey, went north for a visit. His two brothers offered land if he would lmove near them and he accepted. He returned to Maryland ot sell his land, but drowned crossing the Potomac, leaving no heirs.3 James Pancoast was born circa 1669 at England.1 He immigrated before 1680; Came to Maryland from England before his family.2 Owned 700 acres of land on the Potomac in what is now the disctrict of Columbia called "Pencotts Invention."3 He died circa 1734; Drowned crossing the Potomac River after visiting with his family who he had not seen since leaving England.1

McKelvey died on 3 March 1943 at Goshen Twp., Belmont County, Ohio, USA, at age 71.4,5 He was CauseDeath Organic heart disease caused by Arterial Sclerosis. on 3 March 1943 at Belmont County, Ohio, USA.3 He died on 13 March 1943 at Bethesda, Belmont County, Ohio, USA, at age 71.3,6 He was buried on 17 March 1943 at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Belmont County, Ohio, USA.3 He was Obituary on 18 March 1943.6
